Nearly burned my sister's eyebrows off. The wax was border-line too hot, my sister said she felt dizzy and got a headache afterwards. Her eyebrows were bright red (I know some redness is expected after a wax- but this was like a tomato and looked so sore). She was also in and out within the space of 5 minutes.
All the girls are very professional at Sunrise, in all the time I have been going to Sunrise, I have never had a bad experience, everyone working is well trained and knows what they're doing, overall an excellent salon.

I needed my brows done so I made an impromptu appointment when I happened to be in the area. I was very happy they could squeeze me in. However, when I left I could barely see straight. Firstly, I go into the room and the lady barely speaks to me, I'm trying to be friendly but she's not making much conversation at all. So then I lie down on the bed and she just gets started with the wax, doesn't even ask what kind of shape I want!!! The wax was really hot I felt very uncomfortable, and I'm usually fine with waxing... but this was the hottest wax i've ever experienced. And not only that, instead of ripping the cloth off in one go, she tugs at it several times and slowly takes it off.. Then onto the plucking.. I've never enjoyed plucking but this was also very painful.. I was literally on the edge of saying STOP and leaving because it was that bad. I saw it through though and my sister was waiting for me outside, she was shocked at how red my eyes/brows were and she wasn't impressed by the shape at all. I didn't get the nice arch that I wanted.Total waste of money. (15)
