A well run campsite in beautiful grounds. The only downsides were that the shower/toilet block could get quite busy (comprising of a men's urinal, 3 compost loos & 2 showers) and the hot water (on between 7am - 7pm) could be tempremental. Nevertheless the river walk into Henley is magical come rain or shine and the staff running the campsite were enthusiastic, knowledgeable & eager to help. Would certainly come back here again.
We had the most wonderful time at the Embers Camping site in Henley. A week off from wedding and event dj duties led us to a beautiful pop-up campsite with the kids. Laidback campfire meals, clear night skies filled with stars and small solar twinkly lights dotted here and there in the most perfect setting. Everything you need is on site - from small reception, toilets, washing up station, the hottest camp showers we've ever experienced (and no stop start buttons...real power showers in shacks!) and idyllic views all around. We honestly couldn't have asked for more. The team members were very friendly from booking until we left. We only wish they were open throughout the year!
