We visited the shop on Saturday following a recommendation. My daughter has skinny feet and after several awful experiences in Clarks and multiple shoes purchased online and returned we ventured over to The Childrens Shoe Company. They were wonderful. Fitted the shoes correctly, variety of brands in store and lots of styles. Layout means that children arent all over the place and a wonderful little toy corner. We drove from St Albans - well worth it. Cant recommend enough!

I used to think this was a great shoe shop but was sold a duff pair of shoes on my last visit. My daughter has never found them comfortable and they rub her feet. When I took them back to see if they could help they acted as if my daughter was just a whiner and said I was welcome to buy a new pair! I will never shop here again, it's over priced and they don't care about their service.
Always the best place to go for shoes. Often a bit of a wait if you are at the busy times for school shoes but worth it. The service is excellent and a well fitting good quality pair of shoes are guaranteed.
