Spa day was ok but the facilities are not really made for relaxing, there was very limited lounging areas around the pool so we had nowhere to sit or put our towels when not swimming. Seemed like too many people were there for the space available.The afternoon tea was lovely though with a nice view from the conservatory.
I attended the restaurant this evening, the 'Indian' food was absolutely disgusting. They deserve -1 rating. The food was expensive and sounded so much better on paper.I will never EVER dine there again. Worst evening out I have ever had, I could have eaten better at home. To add insult to injury I also have a funny tummy. What a waste of money. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
Cold in corridors. Room fine but no plug sockets by bed and toilet paper cheap and nasty. Bathroom door didn't lock. However, breakfast was fantastic. And spa facilities great. Facial and massage was divine.
Every member of staff was so friendly and polite. We stayed for New Year and had an amazing time. Really relaxed break away with a fun, lively atmosphere at the new year disco with fireworks. The food was incredible. Was very sad to check out and would definitely recommend.
Had an afternoon tea and spa gift we were using. Excellent facilities, friendly staff and a wonderful afternoon tea with sandwiches and a vast selection of cakes, for which they gave doggy bags to take home. Can't comment on the rest of the hotel. Car park was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend the tea and spa package!
