Tom Kerridge at his best. Local legend has it that he wanted to give back to the Marlow locals, having robbed them of their favourite pub (the Hand an Flowers) by turning it into Englands only Michelin pub with the attendant daunting waiting list to get in. Never fear, though, you cannot book at the Crown. This is not as bad as you think unless you are in a large part. My wife and I went there for breakfast on a Friday and sat at the bar. The quality of service and food was exemplary and the staff were so friendly we decided to return that evening for supper. Not only were we remembered but the welcome was genuinely warm and the food the standout quality the nation expects from Our Tom. Go early if there are more than two of you, though.

We enjoyed dinner at the Coach this evening. The portions look quite small but they are very rich and filling. Staff are lovely and the atmosphere is lively. Not cheap but worth going for a treat, you certainly get your money's worth. Recommended.
I love the fact that you cant book. No matter how important or privileged you think you are you do not end up displacing people. First come first served. Great principle. Food is great staff are attentive. Highly recommend
Amazing food and amazing service. The Coach works with a no booking service however a group of four of us were instantly greeted and given a lovely table. The wine selection was incredibly and food options just as much so. The group ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and each dish was delicious. I would highly recommend the risotto and the sticky toffee. Lovely interior and decor.
