Fantastic service venue and food the Tomahawk Steak is simple and delicious and larger than enough to allow it to be shared. Check out the photo the chips were so fresh and crisp with a nice dip sauce that let's you enjoy the massive steak
Sadly lacking in quality and service. Ideas above their station as the experience simply doesn't match the prices being charged. Asking 10 on top of the 30 charged for a steak just for a few chips and carrots is frankly taking the mick.
Good quality food. Medium sized portions. Steak cooked properly. Couldn't try their desserts as we waited 25 minutes and there was no sign of them so we had to leave. Considering it was a quiet Tuesday lunch I don't think this is acceptable. The manager took them off the bill and the waiter apologised which we appreciated. For the price the place should offer faster service and larger "sharing" starters.
Had a lovely meal & would recommend the chicken skewers & rib eye steak. Our waiters were very attentive & very friendly. Had a really good night...thank you
We sat at the back in the new extention on a cold evening. The ambience was lovely. Nice warm heaters above and blankets provided. They kindly kept the roof closed. Sadly let down by our two cold cheese burgers (cooked too soon whilst still eating our large sharing starter). Never got asked if we needed any relishes. Never got asked if everything was okay with our meal. No cutlery supplied for one of us. Constantly had to get up and ask staff to help. Soup spoons given to eat our desserts with, as were evidently still waiting for their new ones to arrive. Did get a refund on the burgers when queried with a manager at the end of the night. Such a shame as they have much local competition in the area and the opportunity to have an amazing restaurant. Staff training should be next on the agenda asap.
